One of my favorite photos of my adorable nephew. There’s a line in the movie, Little Man Tate, where Fred says, “I’m not crabby, I’m pensive.” My nephew gets these serious looks on his face and it makes me think of that movie.

This is my friend’s new puppy, Secret. She’s a darling little Doberman Pinscher. The breeder agreed not to crop her ears – isn’t she adorable?
